New Frontier by Darwyne Cooke

Finally read it! And it was the Absolute Edition too. This is Cooke's current masterpiece. People who love "mature" comics might be turned off by the art, which is cartoony, but very well done.


Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic by Alison Bechdel

I liked this memoir. It alludes to literary works, using them as analogies to the philosophical significance of the lives of the cartoonist and her family.
